Cities of Sigmar represent one of the most diverse factions in the Age of Sigmar setting, drawing their population from the 3 major races of Order (Humans, Duardin, Aelves) aswell as hosting the potential for countless minor races forming key elements of your force through kitbashing.
This staggering diversity represents a fantastic opportunity to take one element you adore and theme an entire army around, be it a specific race to tailor all the warscrolls to or a theme based on realm or culture of your city. With the range on offer you can kitbash to become more diverse, or to unify the subfactional warscrolls into a single cohesive force.

KITBASHED CONVERSION TIP: PEASANT MILITIA
Utilising the Necromunda House Cawdor kit to provide a basis for your peasant militia you can embody a gritty and downtrodden vibe to the unit, their rags are often torn and threadbare, they have poorly bandaged limbs or missing boots and emphasis a unit that has little chance of resupply or status.
The best weapons to fit this kit come from the Nighthaunt Chainrasps, their thin hands perfectly fitting the starved and gaunt look of the Cawdor and the weapons are equally rundown and poorly maintained. By combining the two you have a unit that has seen better days, truly those used to fighting in the dirt and grit of the mortal realms.
